Our Story / हमारी संस्था

Sri Narayan Singh Krishna Devi Degree College was established with the inspiration of a former professor of R.L.S.Y. College, Bettiah and a senior education reformer of West Champaran. The institution was created with a clear social purpose: to make higher education easier to reach for village students, especially those who cannot travel far or afford expensive city-based education.

Situated near the border area of the founder's home village, Gauchari, the college carries a deep commitment to rural progress. Its affordable fee structure, supportive academic environment, and focus on discipline are designed to help students from farming families, first-generation learner families, and nearby villages continue their studies with confidence.

यह महाविद्यालय पश्चिम चम्पारण के वरिष्ठ शिक्षा सुधारक एवं बेतिया स्थित R.L.S.Y. College के पूर्व प्राध्यापक की प्रेरणा से ग्रामीण विद्यार्थियों के लिए स्थापित किया गया। इसका उद्देश्य गांवों के छात्रों, विशेष रूप से बेटियों, को कम शुल्क में उच्च शिक्षा उपलब्ध कराना और उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर, शिक्षित और सशक्त बनाना है।

संस्थान संस्थापक के गृह क्षेत्र, ग्राम गौचरी के निकट स्थित है। यहां शिक्षा को केवल डिग्री तक सीमित नहीं रखा गया है, बल्कि संस्कार, आत्मविश्वास, सामाजिक जागरूकता और रोजगारोन्मुख सोच के साथ जोड़ा गया है।

The college believes that the future of a village changes when its young people, especially its daughters, receive the confidence of education. For many families in rural areas, distance, cost, and social hesitation become barriers to higher studies. This institution works to reduce those barriers by keeping education close to home, respectful in atmosphere, and practical in purpose.

Along with classroom teaching, the college gives importance to moral values, communication skills, self-discipline, and awareness of social responsibility. The aim is to prepare students not only for examinations, but also for family leadership, public life, employment, and meaningful contribution to society.

ग्रामीण शिक्षा और नारी सशक्तिकरण

महाविद्यालय का विश्वास है कि जब गांव के युवक-युवतियां शिक्षित होते हैं, तब पूरे समाज में परिवर्तन आता है। ग्रामीण परिवारों के लिए दूरी, आर्थिक कठिनाई और सामाजिक संकोच कई बार उच्च शिक्षा में बाधा बनते हैं। यह संस्थान इन बाधाओं को कम करते हुए घर के निकट सम्मानजनक वातावरण में शिक्षा उपलब्ध कराने का प्रयास करता है।
